Spring Equipment Turn In Days

The district has assigned our spring athletic equipment turn in days for our spring sport teams. Please contact your coaches and confirm that you will be attending the turn in day.   Monday, May 11th – HS track in “Staff Parking”. MS track in “Student Parking” Tuesday, May 12th – HS softball in “Staff Parking”.

Injuries are still happening. The Sports Medicine team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital is still here for our student athletes and committed to keeping our kids safe. As many of you have seen, the Governor of Ohio has extended the suspension of school until May 1, 2020. Under this order all athletic and social events are no permitted. The OHSAA has not officially canceled the spring season and OHSAA administrators are communicating with schools the process of possibly having spring seasons IF

West Jefferson High and Middle School athletics are officially postponed until April 6th, 2020. All practices, scrimmages, and games will not take place until further notice. All group gatherings have been postponed as well. Gatherings such as picture day, banquets, and team building activities are not allowed at this time. Once the OHSAA gives schools official status
