As many of you have seen, the Governor of Ohio has extended the suspension of school until May 1, 2020. Under this order all athletic and social events are no permitted. The OHSAA has not officially canceled the spring season and OHSAA administrators are communicating with schools the process of possibly having spring seasons IF we are able to attend school again this year. Once we are given direction for the spring we will communicate that information with the community as quick as possible.
As a result of the extended suspension of school, students should try to keep active as long as those activities are safe and fall in line with the Governor’s health recommendations.
During this time it is also important that students make sure they do their work at home. The grades they earn this spring will determine their eligibility for fall athletics.
Lastly, stay safe everyone. Speaking on behave of all of our coaches, we miss seeing our students and interacting with them throughout the school day and sports. These are trying times but we will get through it all together!
