Congratulations to freshman Hope Lewis! Hope not only placed first in the 3200M run at the Madison County track meet but also broke a long standing record for the event. Hope’s time of 13:25 beat the old record of 13:49 by 24 seconds.

Shelton Stanley gives Roughriders late push to beat Columbus Ready, 4-3

Shelton Stanley brought home the winning run to give Roughriders the lead in the seventh inning, as Roughriders hung on to beat Columbus Ready 4-3 on Thursday. JD Miller singled to get on base in the seventh. He then went from first to third on an RBI single by Tyler Jones. Finally, Miller stole home.
