The Middle School Soccer game (home versus London) this Saturday August 30th will be moved from an 11AM start time to a 9AM start time.

Week One Show Down

Two Regional Champions will be battling it out week 1 at Kile Field.  The Roughriders were Region 18 champions while Mechanicsburg won Region 22.  This will be the thirteenth year in a row opening up with Mechanicsburg under the Buescher Era.  West Jeff has the upper hand the past twelve years posting a 7-5 record. 

Girls Soccer 3-0

The Lady Roughriders traveled to Northeastern to take on the Jets.  The Riders pulled out a close one 1-0.  Claire Sterling had the only goal off a header assisted by Zoey Fisher.  Ashtyn Webb was busy around the goal today accounting for 12 saves.  Next up for the girls soccer team is Columbus Academy (Away)

WJ Boys Soccer 2-0

WJ Girls Soccer Downs Heath

On a hot and humid afternoon, the Lady Riders torched the Bulldogs 4-0 by holding Heath to 4 shots on goal.  Sydney Gaus led the way for the Roughriders with 3 goals.  Hope Lewis accounted for 1 goal while Hunter Stull contributed with an assist.  Ashtyn Webb completed the evening with 4 saves.  The Lady

WJ Girls Soccer beats Southeastern

The girls soccer team defeated Southeastern 10-2.  Sydney Gauss and Hunter Stull had 3 goals each.  Claire Sterling had 2 goals while Hope Lewis and Zoey Fisher each accounted for 1 goal.  The stingy Roughrider defense held Southeastern to 4 shots on goal and Ashtyn Webb had 2 saves.  Their next game is 8-19-14 @
