Middle School Football – Game Change notice

The 8th grade football game today at Fisher Catholic has been cancelled.  Instead, the 8th grade team is going to play a home game today versus Harvest Prep.  The game will take place at Kile field tonight at 7pm.

WJ Beats Fisher Catholic

The Roughriders beat Fisher Catholic 55-0 Friday Night.  DJ Braithwaite led the Roughriders with 59 yards on 7 carries with 1 touchdown.  Also scoring was Higgins, Perry, Robertson.  The Roughriders will host Bexley this Thursday night at 7pm. Womble Makes Districts

Drew Womble shot an 83 to advance in the Central District Tournament.  We will be playing at Apple Valley Golf Course on September 30th at 10:20am. 

Boys Soccer Beats Plains

The Roughriders beat Madison Plains last night 12-0.  Scoring for the Roughriders was Dingess (3), Farbacher (3), Damir Pereira (2), Stultz (2), Marting, Shields.  The Roughriders are 6-5 on the year.  

WJ Volleyball Program Takes Down Bexley

WJ volleyball program took down Bexley. JV won in two matches (25-7; 25-18). Varsity took down Bexley in three matches (25-23; 25-17; 25-19). The Lady Riders are out at Washington Courthouse on Thursday.

Boys Soccer Beats Amanda Clearcreek

The Roughriders traveled to Amanda for a night contest.  It was all knotted at the half 3-3 but the Roughriders came out strong the second half to score 3 more goals.  Scoring for West Jefferson were Conner Shields (3), Cody Dingess (2), and Matthew Stultz.  Yasha Shatalov, Matthew Stultz, Cody Dingess, and Damir Pereira contributed

Boys Soccer Beats Northeastern

The West Jefferson Boys soccer team defeated Northeastern 8-1 on Saturday.  Scoring for the Roughriders: Connor Shields (4), Matthew Stultz (2), Cody Dingess, Damir Pereira.  Sophomore Ross Hall had 10 saves on the day.  The Roughriders are currently 4-5.   

Girls Soccer Ties Bexley

The Lady Roughriders tied Bexley 1-1 Thursday evening.  Madi Phillips had the lone goal for the Roughriders while Ashtyn Webb had 22 saves.
